Tenjin Chikagai –
The whole site is about 600m long through the Tenjin Underground Shopping Centre. The largest bustling street in Kyushu. Stone-paved roads and wine-patterned ceilings were built to resemble
the 19th century European atmosphere.
Kushida-jinja Shrine –
The oldest shrine in Fukuoka City and the chief guardian of the city. It has long been believed that praying here “Kamikiji” will bring longevity and prosperity.
Kinrin Lake –
It is incredible that hot springs and clear water well up from the bottom of a part of the lake. The sparkling lake sparkles in the reflection of the setting sun, hence the name. The torii gates standing in the lake are mysterious and extraordinary. In addition, water from Kinrin Lake is also used for the water of Nakate Mizuya in the shrine. The natural scenery nurtured by Yufuin is the blessing of Kinrinko Lake.
Yufuin Floral Village –
A paradise designed based on Cotswolds, England, which is also the filming site of Harry Potter movies. Here you can also buy a lot of movie-related products such as “Alice in Wonderland”, “Peter Rabbit” and “Ghibli”. You can stroll in this fairy tale village, it’s like a scene in a dream!
Kokonoe Yume Otsuribashi –
You can enjoy a large panorama view at an altitude of 777 meters. With a length of 390 meters, it is Japan’s longest pedestrian bridge. The scenery seen from the bridge is spectacular. You can see the “Shake Falls” which is selected as one of Japan’s top 100 waterfalls, and you can also overlook the famous place “Kuzui River” with fresh green and red leaves especially in autumn. It is one of the famous maple viewing places in Kyushu.
Takachiho Gorge –
A gorge with magnificent columnar cliffs formed by the eruption of Mount Aso. Known as the symbol of the place, “Manai Waterfall”, its magnificent landscape is definitely the finale. The limited-time lighting and autumn leaves are also worth seeing. There are also many shrines and attractions related to Japanese mythology scattered around the area.
Sky Train –
A small train with super beautiful scenery. Takachiho is most famous for the spectacular Takachiho Gorge. In addition to seeing the spectacular canyon, you can feel the surrounding mountains and urban street scenes of Takachiho.
Umi Jigoku –
Umi Jigoku was formed 1,200 years ago when Mt. Tsurumi erupted. Because it is made of iron sulfate, the pool water presents a clear blue color, giving people the feeling of looking at the sea. But the temperature is as high as 98°C. You can use the high temperature of Hell to cook eggs. It only takes 6 minutes to cook a basket of fresh eggs. It is a famous product of Hell.
Kumamoto Castle –
A hilltop Japanese castle in Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu. It occupies a vast area and is extremely well-defended. The castle’s tall tower (tenshukaku) is a concrete reconstruction built in 1960, several of the original castle’s outbuildings of wood remain intact.
Josai Garden –
A place good for shopping and eating in the antique atmosphere. The Sakuranokoji old street since Edo period is a must visit site. Popular snacks include sea urchin croquette and Higo beef.
Kusasenrigahama –
A rainwater lake in the middle of the prairie with a diameter of 1km. It is a pasture area with herds of cattle and horses. The scenery changes in different seasons.
Sakurajima –
Is a highly active volcano located just 4 kilometres from the bustling city of Kagoshima. Located in Kirishima-Kinkowan National Park, this 1,117-meter-tall volcano is highly active, with thrown thousands of meters into the air during eruptions.
Sengan-en –
This garden is a separate residence of the Shimadzu family built in 1658 by Mitsuhisa Shimadzu. On 9th day of the Shimadzu Family. In 2015, it was listed on the World Cultural Heritage List of the United Nations Educational, Scientific Organization. The courtyard uses the method of borrowing scenery to use the majestic Sakurajima as the mountain in the garden and Kinko Bay as the water in the garden. It is so beautiful that it is known as a famous garden in the world.
Arimura Lava Observation Deck –
The Arimura Lava Observatory is located on the hill of the lava field that flowed out of the Cherry Island explosion in 1946. The small hill is located in the 1-kilometer lava trail, and the world-class active volcano Sakurajima seems to be within reach. The active volcano crater is nearby and sometimes you can hear the sound of rumbling and the earth shaking.
Dazaifu Tenmangu –
The most representative shrine in Fukuoka, Kyushu. The surrounding atmosphere is relaxing. The souvenir shops on both sides of the approach often attract many tourists to buy food and souvenirs. Dazaifu, the god of examinations, is enshrined. In addition to praying for luck in the exams, Dazaifu is also famous for plum blossom viewing.
Yanagawa –
Known as the “Venice of Kyushu”, you can often see green weeping willows on both sides. A boatman paddles across the water in a light boat, carrying guests to roam and get to know this ancient river.
Fukuoka Lalaport Gundam Park –
With the world’s largest Gundam, it consists of shopping malls, restaurants and various entertainment facilities. The total construction area of the shopping mall exceeds 200,000 acres.
Tosu Premium Outlets –
A large outlet mall that gathers more than 150 famous brands from Japan and abroad. Afterwards, transfer to Fukuoka International Airport for flight back home.
