  1. Booking & Payment
  • A non-refundable deposit of 30–50% is required to confirm the booking.
  • Full payment must be made at least 7–14 days before departure.
  • Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  1. Cancellation Policy
  • 30 days before departure: Full refund (excluding admin fees).
  • 15–29 days: 50% refund.
  • 7–14 days: 25% refund.
  • Less than 7 days / No-show: No refund.
  • Any changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  1. Itinerary Changes
  • The itinerary may be adjusted due to weather, river conditions, safety reasons, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • The operator reserves the right to replace activities with similar alternatives without prior notice.
  1. Accommodation (Longhouse Stay)
  • Guests will stay in a traditional Iban longhouse, which is a basic, communal living environment.
  • Facilities may include:
    • Shared sleeping areas
    • Limited electricity
    • Basic bathroom facilities
  • Guests are encouraged to respect local customs, traditions, and house rules.
  1. Meals
  • Meals provided are as stated in the itinerary.
  • Meals at the longhouse are local home-cooked dishes.
  • Please inform of any dietary requirements in advance (not guaranteed).
  1. Health & Safety
  • Participants should be in reasonable physical condition.
  • The tour includes boat rides, rural travel, and walking.
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
  • The operator is not liable for:
    • Personal injuries
    • Loss/damage of belongings
    • Delays due to external factors
  1. Weather & River Conditions
  • River journeys are subject to water levels and weather conditions.
  • In case of unsafe conditions, alternative arrangements will be made.
  1. Cultural Respect
  • Guests must respect Iban traditions and customs, including:
    • Dress modestly
    • Follow the host’s instructions during ceremonies
    • Ask permission before taking photos of locals
  1. Transportation
  • Transport is provided as per itinerary.
  • Delays may occur due to traffic or weather conditions.
  1. Liability
  • The tour operator acts only as an agent for the services provided.
  • The operator shall not be responsible for injury, loss, accident, or delays beyond its control.
  1. Personal Belongings
  • Guests are responsible for their own valuables.
  • Avoid bringing unnecessary expensive items.
  1. Minimum Participants
  • Tour may require a minimum number of participants.
  • If not met, the operator reserves the right to:
    • Reschedule
    • Offer alternative arrangements
    • Provide a refund
  1. Force Majeure
  • No refunds for disruptions caused by:
    • Natural disasters
    • Government restrictions
    • Pandemics
    • Other unforeseen events
